Michael Jordan, DNP, CRNA is board certified in anesthesiology and has been practicing since 2013.

Michael's undergraduate education included an Associates Degree in Nursing from Watts School of Nursing (2007) and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Waynesburg University (2009).

Michael worked as a staff RN for 3 years in a Medical Intensive Care Unit and 1 year in a Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit.

Michael was accepted in to the 3rd ranked nurse anesthesia program in 2011 and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Nurse Anesthesia program in 2013 with clinical honors.

From 2013 until present Michael has worked as a staff CRNA at an academic level 1 trauma center. He practices in all fields but specializes in neuroanesthesia and trauma/transplant anesthesia. Michael continues to work full time at the academic level 1 trauma center to keep all skills up to date.

Since 2015, Michael has provided anesthesia as an independent practitioner for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dentists, and Ophthalmology Surgeons.

In 2021, Michael and his partner, Robert Waite DNP, CRNA, formed Cutting Edge Anesthesia. Their goal is to provide surgeons with the highest level of care at a pace unmatched. 

In 2024, Michael completed his doctorate from Aspen University. His focus and scholarly project involved reducing aspiration risk with the utilization of transabdominal gastric ultrasound.

Elise Bochkoris, MSN, CRNA is board certified in anesthesiology and has been practicing since 2018.

Elise graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2007).  

Following graduation, Elise worked as an intensive care nurse in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, followed by the cardiac intensive care unit at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and surgical intensive care unit at Allegheny General Hospital.

Elise was accepted into the number one ranked nurse anesthesiology program, The University of Pittsburgh, graduating in December 2017.

From 2018 to 2022, Elise worked as a staff nurse anesthesiologist at UPMC Magee, a tertiary center specializing in comprehensive women’s health, providing a broad range of anesthesia services for diverse procedures. In 2022, she began her locum tenens work where she continues to practice.

In 2020, Elise began practicing independently at a private ophthalmology practice and a private fertility group. From there, she has increased her scope working for Cutting Edge Anesthesia in oral surgery offices throughout western and central Pennsylvania. In 2025, she accepted a partnership role within Cutting Edge Anesthesia.
